Tomorrow we head back to Texas, and the week after I am back on the boat. We

had breakfast then went to the jarden to get tickets for a tour. When waiting a ceremony of some type for independance was held. It was short and sweet then the kids did a short parade and it was over.

Dolores Hidalgeo (spelling does not count)
Today we took a tour of a smaller city about 40K from SMA. First as always we visited the church, it is famous for were the revaluation of 1810 started.
Then the guide took us around to the city hall were the copy of the bell from the revaluation is on display ( real one is in Mexico City ). Then went to an excellent Museum that had details about how things were in Mexico from the Spanish first landed to 1810. I learned a lot more then I thought I would, the Mexico history is a lot more then I realized.
Next
we went to lunch, if I was to stay in DH I think it would become on of my
favorites. For desert we had Ice Cream from a street vendor, I had beer flavor and it was good!!! If real beer was as good I would be in trouble. Ended the day with a trip to Atotonilco to visit the small church that is painted inside and is called the Mexican 16th chapel. This
church is being restored and when completed will be marveles even now it is worth the side trip. So eneded a very nice day in Mexico... For the first time I think I could live in this part of the country as long as it is not in Central SMA.

Day Five in SM
Day started at 0600 after a sleepless night, made the mistake of taken a nap late in the afternoon, and eating late. Had breakfast and took my shower, was just getting ready to have a second cup of tea, but Kay wanted to get going for the walking tour. It was only 07:45 am when we left. Got on a bus at 08:15, arrived at 08:30, went to get coffee and sit inside but Kay wanted to sit outside because she wanted to be sure she would not miss the tour.. Sat outside in cold for over an hour. Tour was 98% about the history of the church in Mexico. I found it boring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had lunch, more coffee, came back to place we are staying. Walked into the room and it has a STRONG Oder of bleach. Now sitting in the kitchen because I can not stand the smell in the room...
Just to top off the day power was lost to the modem for the internet and it took some time to get it back before I could complet this...
As of day five I have reached the conclusion I will NEVER come back to San Miguel De Allende again... As you can tell I took zero photos today, and have no plans to take anymore of SM.... EVER!!!!!!!!!! Will not be posting about SM again... Will only post if it is outside of this place..

Day Three in San Miguel
Today I went to my first Bull Fight, for the most part I will let the photos speak for themselves... With a few comments on the side of course.
Third Photo shows the entrance of the Matadors.
The next step is to have up to eight Matadors in the ring using capes to do two things. First run the bull around and second to get it close the the horseman, once close to the horsemen it is stabbed with a spare. This is done to draw blood and weaken the bull.
No photos of the horsemen stabbing.
Next step as I see it is when the Matador sticks the bull with more spikes, up to eight.
Lots of cape work
Th closer to the bull the matador is the more the crowd likes it.
