Day Three in San Miguel

Today I went to my first Bull Fight, for the most part I will let the photos speak for themselves... With a few comments on the side of course.
The first photo is the ring about two hours before the fight begins.
The photo is when the staff started getting the ring laid out for the fight. I still do not understand the meaning of the circles.
Third Photo shows the entrance of the Matadors.
The Fight begins when the bull is released into the ring, notice as it comes out it is already stuck with a white spike.
AT this point the bull is fresh, strong and ready for the fight.
The next step is to have up to eight Matadors in the ring using capes to do two things. First run the bull around and second to get it close the the horseman, once close to the horsemen it is stabbed with a spare. This is done to draw blood and weaken the bull.
No photos of the horsemen stabbing.
Next step as I see it is when the Matador sticks the bull with more spikes, up to eight.
Again this will weaken the bull.
The next several photos shows the matador doing his thing. The photos I am showing is of the one that did the best job.
Lots of cape work
Th closer to the bull the matador is the more the crowd likes it.
More cape work
Brave move going down on one knee.
The end is near notice the sword
Another brave move is to turn your back
The end of the fight is when you see the Matador pointing the sword at the bull.
The End...
