Arrived Tyler State Park Texas

Arrived at Tyler S.P. but not without some sidestepping. Seems like they are two 287 roads off the 69 in Texas. The one we wanted was the loop, but about twenty miles before the one we wanted we spotted a sign for another 287 road and took the turn. Well it was a great drive, got to see country that we may never have other wish, so what if it took us sixty miles out of our way before we got back on track. Then just to add spice to the drive the A.C. went out on us, and we had to drive the last fifty miles or so with the windows down so the dogs could stay somewhat cool..

Once we arrived at the park and checked in we found out about a place called Hank's that should be able to fix the A.C... Did a drive down and checked out Hank's just to know how to get they. Also found a nice place to eat breakfast food, it is called Patty's. (see photo)

Made it back to camp and set up our new boat and tested it out, best that I am willing to say is it floats.. Will play with it more later tomorrow.. We also went and got some fishing gear, I do not believe we will catch a thing, but we will have some fun trying..

Dogs seem to be enjoying the outdoors and all the new smells that come with it. Only thing is the heat does get to all of us dogs and humans alike. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
